Wir haben ja schon einmal erwaehnt das Zoie nicht das typisch immer schlafende Baby ist.
Um ihr das Einschlafen angenehmer zu gestalten, haben wir ihr Kindermusik heruntergeladen. Vom Rythmus und Tempo gute Einschlafmusik.
Zoie mag die Musik gerne, so sehr, das sie sich immer erst die ganze Liste der Lieder anhoert, und erst dann einschlaeft. Zuerst dachte ich das sei nur Zufall, aber es ist wirklich immer so. Ist das nicht zum schmunzeln?
We have been told more than once, that Zoie's sleep cycle is not your typical newborn sleep pattern. Stays awake all day then sleeps most of the night (which is good by us, but she doesn't always get enough sleep during the day). Since she tends to stay awake most of the day (without a nap), she starts to get real cranky towards the evening, then gets so cranky she has problems getting to sleep. So to help her we downloaded some nursery rhymes figuring they might help her relax and fall asleep, an hour or two during the day.
Zoie likes the music very much, so much so, that she always listens to all the songs before going to sleep. At first we thought it was just by chance but, she does it every time, isn't that just the cutest?

My son had this problem too and I put a "Big Ben" ticking clock in his crib. Something about that ticking that made him want to sleep. They are wind-up clocks. I don't even know if they make them anymore.
