Zoie's new super power!

Today Zoie decided that her ever growing abilities were not developing fast enough, so she decided to take things into her own hands.

She went up and down the stairs a gazillon times until she could go up and down without holding onto the railing! The whole time shouting "Papagotyou" (translated as Papa I got you........meaning Papa you better watch me and make sure I don't fall).

After about 15 minutes she decided that her new super power was fully developed and that she could go and play in the living room like a normal 21month old......lol!

First professional family photos!

It's been awhile since I've blogged last....oops! Zoie has grown sooooo much and made such great progress, that it seems hard to keep up sometimes!

First off, we had a great photo-shoot from a friend of ours. You can see a few of the many, many great pictures she took by following this link to her blog: Leslie's Blog Make sure you visit her professional site as well for more of her great work: Leslie Cervantez Photography

We had a lot of fun with Zoie during the photo shoot. Zoie was her usual curious and active self. Running around looking at everything! Even found some stairs that she had to go up and down (all by herself) a zillion times...lol! They had a small petting zoo, where she had a fantastic time. She got to feed the goats some grass, as well as pet a pig, watch some ducks, a chicken, and some lamas. All in all, we spent about 4 hours having a great family day while Leslie worked her magic with the camera. We can't wait to do it again next year.

Sunny Sunday!

Today, we took Zoie out to test her new sand toys. She really enjoyed digging in the sand and smashing the sand towers that we built her.

We brought along a bucket for her to put sand in, but she mostly used it to taste the sand. She used it to put sand onto her drinking cup and then proceeded to taste it. I told her not to put into her mouth, but she wouldn't listen. So, she found out for herself that the sand doesn't taste good, and ending up spitting it out right away.

She liked going down the slide, and even attempted to walk up it. Then she tried sliding down in different positions, but in the end, lying down was her favorite. When we finally got her home, she was completely exhausted, and went to sleep without any fuss.

Playtime in the sandbox

Zoie really enjoys going to the playground. We prefer the one on post because it has more things that are her play age.

She had the most fun in the Sandbox. She likes rolling in it and grabbing the sand with her little fingers. We bought her some toys to play with in the sand and she'll go and test them this afternoon. I will write about it went in my next post.

Time just flyes by......Zoie's 1. Birthday!

Wow, it's been six months since the last post.......

Zoie is already 1 year old!
She's been walking since the 1st of January 08, the date is easy to remember;)
Her first birthday party was great. With lots of people and of course presents. She really enjoyed all the attention she got from the visitors.

I will post more in the next few days. Probably some posts dated back, since Zoie has changed so much and learned so much.

Don't I have pretty teeth?!

I really like my new teeth, now I can chew stuff, and chewing is so much fun!

Her teeth all came in almost at the same time. Poor Zoie, at least she didn't cry too much during the ordeal.
